We have seen our little girl flourish with confidence since going to Pumpkin Patch Nursery. She has recently turned 2 and she is so happy when it is nursery day, to see her friends and teachers. When she comes home I ask what she did and she is able to pick out her most enjoyable parts (with a little prompt from Daddy after checking updates on the app. That is ultimately what every parent wants from a nursery, a place where their children can enjoy, learn and develop. I have no hesitancy in recommending pumpkin patch to anyone in the area.

We love Pumpkin Patch and feel very proud to have our daughter attending there. They have been kind and thoughtful of our child's needs. Their communication is brilliant, sending us updates daily of their developments and handing over how they have been at the end of each day, with a smile. The education is excellent too and their commitment to the children's development whilst making it fun is so wonderful to watch, she comes home surprising us with her new skills weekly. They have been wonderful at supporting our daughter's dietary requirements and making the meals inclusive to her as well as nutritious and tasty. The staff are always friendly and remember little details that make us as a family feel important. They are simply outstanding.

Fabulous nursery! My daughter has been attending since February full time and she is always full of smiles when I drop her off and pick her up - she loves it. I love the app where you are sent updates/pictures of what they are up to. All the staff there are so caring and friendly and have really helped with her development. When she started there she was 8 months old and had no routine with naps and was not really eating solids and within a couple of weeks had a good nap routine sorted and was eating all of her meals. They really worked wonders. The food there is brilliant, with an excellent variety and she loves it. Would highly recommend this nursery.

'An all round excellent nursery'
An all round excellent nursery. As a first time parent who’d never previously spent any time away from my son, I was very nervous about sending him to nursery when I returned to work. The team at Pumpkin Patch put in a lot of effort to get to know each child individually and understand their needs as well as providing regular updates which really helped to ease the transition.
6 months in and he’s absolutely loving it. He’s really bonded with his educators, sleeps well, enjoys all the activities, eats all the food, and can’t wait to run in when I drop him off in the mornings.

Amazing nursery. Our little one has been going for the last 8 months and loves it. He has developed so much, learnt sign for a few words and loves getting involved in all the activities. The chef is great and they have a wide variety of food which our little boy loves. They have a great outside space and our little boy loves garden time. Pumpkin Patch Crescent Road is just excellent. The whole setting - all the staff, the communication to parents, the commitment to the children, the nutritious meals, even the driving in and out (no need to park offsite) is amazing. Our son started a couple of days a week at 6 months old and now at 11 months old is there 4 days a week. He’s always so happy to come in and I can see from the daily photos and videos he clearly loves being at nursery. He is developing quickly and enjoying learning new things and being with the other children in such a warm and friendly environment. I cannot fault anything and highly recommend Pumpkin Patch Crescent Road for your little ones.

My son has been attending Pumpkin Patch Crescent Road since April this year. I knew that we were going to have a challenging time settling because he is very clingy to me, but I also knew that nursery would be the best place for him. The staff were amazing at easing the process for both of us. He has thrived since starting here (which everyone has commented on) and I think that is particularly because they have recognised where he wants to develop and facilitated it. My son has been very frustrated with not being able to communicate so the baby signing at nursery which we reinforce at home has made such a big difference. He is very attached to his key workers which is lovely to see.

'A really lovely nursery that cares for the children'
I am so happy with the way that the staff at Pumpkin Patch have settled my grandson into the nursery. He likes to be kept active and there are always exciting things for him to do and learn about, doing ‘messy’ things that I just wouldn’t do with him at home. He loves going there. I was worried that he wouldn’t nap at nursery, he wakes early and can be really tired and irritable if he doesn’t get his nap but they settle him down and he has a good 2-hour nap. Brilliant. A really lovely nursery that cares for the children and not only keeps the toddlers occupied and fed well but is also a safe place to play and cosy enough to nap.

Our daughter started back in March after moving from another nursery. Since being here, she has absolutely blossomed and I think a big part of that is the staff they have here. You can see how much they care and how much effort they put into making each activity not only stimulating but educational and fun.
Our daughter loves it here and the transition from the baby/toddler room to kindergarten was handled really well and she has settled in really nicely!

Both my grandchildren started this week at Pumpkin Patch although my granddaughter did start before for a couple of sessions before having to move into temporary accommodation. She was welcomed back with her brother starting with her, I'm always updated with photos and what the group has been up to using the app. Also I'm going to their open day on Saturday, both the grandchildren I know are very happy and enjoy their time at the nursery. Also I know that they are well looked after by the staff and engaged.

I was so happy when I heard a new Pumpkin Patch was opening and enrolled my boy straight away. The communication and responsiveness has been exceptional from day one something that is so important when choosing a setting for your child. My little boy literally counts down the days to nursery and when I pick him up he comes out beaming saying 'I had so much fun' which just warms my heart. The app keeps us updated and I feel relaxed and confident that my child is being nurtured, taken care of and supported in his development with regular reviews of his progress. I can't recommend this wonderful nursery enough! Very happy and pleased we made this setting our first choice for our boy.

We were most impressed with the staff when we went to pick up our grandson for the first time. It was encouraging for us as grandparents to see how tight the safeguarding was and the checks that were carried out before we could collect him.
He tells us who his friends are and what he has been doing and how much he enjoys going, especially to the beach. The staff engage the children in many activities and are teaching them so many different ways to communicate, be kind, to play together, share and enjoy themselves. Our grandson is very happy and we are too that he goes to Pumpkin Patch. Thank you to all the staff for the care which you give to all the children.

My son has been at Pumpkin Patch in Hove for around 6 months now and we couldn’t be happier.
He always comes out with a smile on his face and is more than happy to go in every morning thanks to the friendly welcome he always receives.
The staff are lovely and so personable. They always have a smile, they give us a great detailed review of his day, and are more than willing to accommodate any changes in his needs, such as a change in dietary requirements etc.
Receiving updates through the app really makes my day. It’s so detailed and great to know what he’s been up to and how well he’s slept and eaten etc. The photos and videos they send us are so so appreciated and give us a great look at what he’s getting up to. For them to take the time to take the videos and send them over is just amazing. Getting to see him interacting with the other kids and in a new environment is just brilliant.
Overall we are so happy with the nursery and couldn’t fault anything.

'We cannot recommend Pumpkin Patch highly enough'
We cannot recommend Pumpkin Patch highly enough. Our daughter has been attending for over two years now, joining the baby’s room and will shortly move to the setting in the park.
What I like most about Pumpkin Patch is their on-site chef and online system has not disappointed! Our daughter eats better than us and has the most fantastic relationship with food.
Every morning, our daughter runs through the door, excited to see what provocations have been set up for the day. I’m thrilled to have all her curiosities nurtured and encouraged. We feel very lucky to have a daughter at Pumpkin Patch, where she has formed lovely relationships with friends and grown-ups.

My son is about to turn 4 and has been going to the nursery since he was 1. Each group has wonderful staff that seem to really care for the children. He has developed in all areas, mainly his speech, which staff members at the nursery specifically help him with. He always has a smile on his face when he comes out. The app they use is great, we enjoy seeing the photos of what he has been doing.
Our next child will be attending the nursery in the new year.

My children have been at this nursery since 2019, all through covid and will be until they’re all at school. I literally cannot say enough good about it.
Although not visible from the front, the level of equipment is absolutely fabulous. The level of resources, knowledge and experience is unparalleled.
My children are so cared for and so loved in this safe, family setting. They have built so much confidence and happiness in the kids. And every family we know thinks the same. They’re also incredibly supportive of our family and any issues we might have.

Both of our children have gone to Pumpkin Patch, covering the period from 2016 to 2023. They have both had wonderful experiences with caring, qualified and engaged staff. They’ve been supported in their own learning interests, and given lots of opportunities to explore both new and preferred topics and games. The garden is wonderful and the kids love playing there. Management knows the children and parents and is both caring and professional. I would absolutely recommend pumpkin patch.

We moved our son to Pumpkin Patch Nursery from another nursery over a year ago now, and it was the best decision we've made. Since being there, he's been so happy.
They follow the children's interests, and this makes them so excited to come in and play.
The communication is excellent, and everyone is really approachable.
Our son does forest school every two weeks and loves going out on the forest school bus with his friends; he gets so excited about it.
I also love that it's child-led, and they choose to be inside or outside when they want to.
The food is great - our son talks a lot about chatting with the chef.
I 100% recommend Pumpkin Patch and trust them absolutely with our son's care!

Pumpkin Patch Brighton has been (and continues to be) a brilliant second home for our children. Excellent care and frequent updates allow us to see how the boys are doing. We love the family feel that encourages siblings to see each other during the day while ensuring that they are both doing age-appropriate activities etc. our older boy has loved forest school from the moment he was allowed to go. I have no doubt that his adventure-loving little brother will follow suit in due course. Thank you.

My daughter loves attending Pumpkin Patch. At pick-up time she comes out beaming and chattering about all the activities she has been up to through the day. She loves the staff there who have supported her to really come out of her shell since she started in 2021. I feel Pumpkin Patch was definitely the right fit for us as the staff provides such a nurturing environment and encourages the children to follow their own interests.

Pumpkin Patch really is an outstanding nursery. We cannot fault it! The staff are so caring, enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgable about every child. Our toddler loves going to nursery and always comes out with a big smile on his face. The staff go above and beyond with the activities they set out for the children and to make sure they meet their interests. My son was quite late to walk, talk etc and the nursery have been such a huge support with helping him catch up and giving him such confidence. The communication is excellent. You always find out face to face what they’ve been up to as well as photos almost daily showing what fun they’ve been having.
It is such a creative, fun, nurturing environment with so many learning opportunities. An added bonus is that everything is newly refurbished and it’s such a lovely environment inside and out.
They also offer 7am starts which was the earliest I could find in Hove nurseries.
We couldn’t be happier with this nursery!

Pumpkin Patch Nursery Brighton is an incredible early years setting where children are nurtured in an enriching environment. Both my children went to Pumpkin Patch, both very different, and both have thrived. The staff are so attuned to the children and really care about their well-being. We loved the Reggio Emilia ethos and the garden space, forest school and the atelier. I thoroughly recommend the Pumpkin Patch.

I couldn't praise Pumpkin Patch Nursery and the staff more. Our son has been going three days a week since he was 1 (now just over 2) and his development and enjoyment that he gets out of going every day is wonderful to watch after a tough initial period of settling in - the staff were great throughout keeping us posted and regularly touching base with us to discuss how to help him settle in. He clearly loves going and now runs in at drop-off, and regularly talks about his friends and the staff when he's at home. They're great at keeping us updated with how he's doing, both during the day and at pick-up, as well as working on his longer-term development. He is hypermobile and therefore took longer to walk than some other children of his age which the nursery were great at helping him find his confidence with and catch up, moving him to the toddler room early to give him more chances to run around and practice.

Review: Pumpkin Patch Nursery is a wonderful and nurturing childcare setting. My boys started shortly after their 3rd birthday having never attended a nursery before. I was worried how they would cope with the transition as they are both sensitive and had always found separation from me difficult but the staff were so lovely. They were flexible about how their settles were managed, kept me up to date during the day and helpfully ensured the staff member who they had formed a close relationship with came to the door every morning which really helped with separation while they were settling.
We have seen them both thrive at Pumpkin Patch. Their key worker has made the effort to get to know them and support their emotional and social development. She has worked really hard putting into place strategies that has really helped one of my boys who was needing help with his confidence.
The boys have made lovely friends and always come home tired, muddy from all the fun in the garden and very happy.

Review: Our son has been at this nursery for 10 months and during this time his speech has developed loads. He loves the outdoor space and as parents, we are truly impressed by the facilities e.g. outdoor classroom, atelier, forest and beach school and large airy classrooms with lots of different learning corners to engage and inspire children. The children are supported in their learning with amazing and unusual activities and communication with parents is constant and prompt through the parnet app. We are very happy with the educators and the management who show understanding and passion. We are also impressed by the training opportunities for staff development including trips to Iceland and Italy to shadow and train in foreign settings. We are not surprised Pumpkin Patch Nursery have opened another branch due to their success - they work hard for it and deserve it. Educators are super helpful and seem happy in their jobs. We love this nursery.

Review: This is a fantastic nursery with staff who genuinely care about the children as well as their development. The internal and external spaces are well put together, giving the children the ability to explore, learn and grow. Every day there are new activities and they amend them to the interests of the children.
The food sounds delicious and they are fantastic with dietary needs. My daughter eats more here than at home.
They use an app to keep you up to date with your child, what is happening in the nursery and activities of the day.

Review: I moved my child from a different nursery in Worthing due to poor communication and am so pleased I did. Pumpkin Patch Worthing is an amazing nursery where children thrive. I currently have two children there and they couldn't be happier. The communication is excellent and I am always well-informed of what they've been up to with pictures and info uploaded of the app. My eldest does forest school there fortnightly which is an amazing experience for her and she can't wait to tell me all about it when she gets home. Review: I honestly feel blessed that we have this nursery so close to our home.
The staff at the nursery are amazing and that shows when I drop off my daughter, she goes in with open arms and no fuss. In fact, she asks to go to nursery on days she isn’t in!
The staff are extremely proactive in giving regular updates on my daughter through the parent app which is so appreciated and something I know other parents do not get at other Nurseries.
I cannot recommend them enough, I feel my daughter is richer in her development and they make our family feel comfortable every time we drop her off.

Review: Our eldest spent two years at Pumpkin Patch (St Botolphs) and loved it - he still wants to come and see the staff sometimes when we pick up our youngest child, who is also loving the staff, activities, toys and overall setting. We've not had any issues with either of them and they've always had a nice day - so can only give very good feedback and a recommendation.

Review: This is such an amazing nursery and the staff really do have the kids best interest at the heart of everything. My son has a speech delay and the staff are helping him along so much with signing and special group activities to help him.
The staff really are the reason why this nursery is so great!

Review: My daughter loves her nursery. I do see her development and the things she learns from nursery, all of which is developed by playing.
Any queries asked are dealt with quickly.
She also does enjoy the food, most of the time eats all of it, so this keeps us less worried about her eating.
Would recommend the nursery to all friends and family.

Review: The nursery are fantastic with both my son and daughter.
My son has autism and they cater to their needs really well. They have helped us every step of the way getting my son the extra help he needs and the attention to detail is amazing with reports.
We are constantly updated via the Famly app so always know what our children are doing on a day to day basis.

Review: I’ve been delighted with this setting from day one, the communication between nursery and parent has always been fantastic. The app is incredibly useful and it really helps keep in the loop with what my little one has been up to and offers a really convenient way to reach members of the team with any questions or requests. The activities they provide are always evolving and there are plenty of hands-on fun, creative activities both indoors and outdoors. My daughter has built really strong relationships with members of the staff and I’m never in any doubt that she’s in very caring hands while she is there. Should she ever have a rare unsettled drop off the staff always make extra effort to let me know once she’s settled and what she’s up to. She leaves her sessions at Pumpkin Patch with a big smile on her face which is testament to the work of the wonderful people that make Pumpkin Patch such a lovely nursery.

Review: Pumpkin Patch Nursery are amazing, from the consistency of trained and friendly staff to the activities, food and attention given to the children. Since my daughter has been attending Pumpkin Patch the past 18 months after pulling her out of another local nursery due to unsatisfactory treatment, my daughter has excelled in her speech, language, confidence and understanding of her emotions and the world around her. My daughter loves going to nursery and I love being able to see via the App what they have been up to during the day and seeing how happy she is. Highly recommend this nursery!

Review: Our son has been attending the nursery for just over a year. The transition for him wasn’t straightforward with covid restrictions, but the staff and keyworker went above and beyond to welcome and settle him in. He adores his time at nursery and has made some wonderful relationships with his peers. What makes the nursery so unique is their ability to step outside the box and encourage genuine creativity from the children. From garden obstacle courses to volcano constructions, staff facilitate an environment where children can orchestrate their own learning pathways. We would wholeheartedly recommend the nursery to others without hesitation, and will be sending our next child there when the time comes. Thank you Pumpkin Patch!

Review: We moved our daughter to Pumpkin Patch Nursery after being less than impressed with her previous nursery. We’re so glad we made this decision as Pumpkin Patch has proved to be an excellent nursery.
My daughter has really increased in confidence since she started and has become a very inquisitive child - eager to understand the world around her.
We particularly love the atelier and the fact that forest school sessions are available (for an additional fee).
The child-led ethos of Pumpkin Patch is really admirable and I wouldn’t hesitate to (and have already) recommended the nursery to others.

Review: The staff at Pumpkin Patch Nursery continue to amaze me, they are caring and understanding and always have the child's best interests at heart.
My son is partially sighted and they make adjustments to suit him and give him time and patience when he needs it.

Review: When choosing a nursery for my daughter I knew it wasn’t going to be easy! However, when I walked around Pumpkin Patch, I instantly knew it was the one! They put me at ease, reassured me and everyone had a friendly face!
Communication was something that was paramount to me and they have an app whereby they upload details and photos about my daughter's days.
At Pumpkin Patch the practitioners go above and beyond and I feel incredibly lucky my daughter has a place here!

Review: A truly amazing nursery. My daughter has always loved coming here as she has fun, makes friends and is cared for to the highest standard by the staff that work here.
They have endless activities for the children to do, all of which are put together with the children in mind, age appropriate and mean that they have fun and learn all at the same time.
Parents are always kept in the loop and we get regular updates about how our daughter is getting on.
I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a nurturing, fun and forward thinking place for their child to go.

Review: Pumpkin Patch in Worthing is brilliant. My son attended from when he was 3 until he started school. He was always provided with stimulating learning experiences by time in the atelier, the amazing outside space and at forest school. He was sad to leave, especially the staff who he had formed connections with. My daughter now attends the toddler room. She settled in really well (and she naps well there too!). The care is excellent. All the staff are warm, supportive and caring. The food must be good as my fussy eaters have eaten well when attending. The staff are great at updating during the day, we love getting photos of the activities that our daughter is doing on her nursery days. I highly recommend this nursery.

Review: Pumpkin Patch are fantastic. My son has thoroughly enjoyed his time there. He absolutely loves the atelier room and the staff seek to engage the children by following their interests. Review: My eldest daughter attends Pumpkin Patch and my youngest is starting there in August. We moved in September last year from London and we couldn’t be happier with the nursery. All the staff are so lovely and helpful, our daughter does so many different activities and has so many friends, it makes us so happy that she is there. We especially love the fact that she has access to such a great outdoor space as much as she wants, which is a huge change from her nursery in London.
We couldn’t recommend the nursery enough.

Review: My little girl went here and was followed on by my son and have already got my baby of 8 weeks booked in ready for next year. Always happy and friendly staff! Have always been amazing with communication and nothing is ever any trouble, have always adapted things when needed to help with my son's eating. My little boy is always happy going and has an amazing relationship with the people that look after him. Could not fault it.

Review: Our 2-year-old daughter started at Pumpkin Patch Nursery in March and doesn't even look back when we drop her off. She's often persuaded to at least give us a wave! The provision is outstanding and based around children's interests. I feel that not only does my daughter enjoy going to nursery but is being moved on in terms of what she is learning. She comes home singing new songs and is able to tell me what she did when I remind her with pictures. She adores the staff and it's 50/50 as to whether I get called 'Mum' or the name of her key worker, which shows a good relationship. The communication is brilliant and I feel the staff know my daughter well. We are over the moon with Pumpkin Patch!

Review: We cannot rate Pumpkin Patch Nursery highly enough - our daughter has really thrived since joining the kindergarten at Pumpkin Patch when it opened this year. The staff clearly have a wealth of experience and truly care about what they do, going above and beyond to nurture children in a creative and loving environment. There is a great balance of outdoor, exploratory play and creative sessions inside. We love how much time is centred around interpreting familiar stories and carrying their ideas through to art and play. It is also clear our daughter receives the one-to-one time she needs sometimes and TLC from the lovely nursery team. We also receive lovely updates daily about what the whole kindergarten are getting up to, as well as personal observations.

Review: Daughter started in April in Kindergarten. I get regular updates of experiences during the day and messages of how she is when she's gone in unsettled. Her development is supported through play with open ended resources along with the focused experiences provided, both in the room, outdoors and in their atelier. As a curious girl and a thinker and doer, the child centred and self directed approach they have is perfect for her, as her learning is extended in the moment. The children's voices are both heard and valued and this is reflected in the observations the staff make and in what my daughter tells me. The environment is beautiful and the children are involved in developing this, growing sunflowers and vegetables in the garden. The knowledgeable staff and Management are all friendly and welcoming in their approach and teaching and have been able to clarify any queries I've had. Happy daughter, very happy Mummy. Thank you! Review: My son has recently moved here from another local nursery and the settle-in/move has been seamless. He is happy, excited and engaged during drop of and pick up. The daily updates are regular and specific to your child, it’s great having photos to see him happy and see what he is up to. The nursery seems calm and educational but fun and engaging at the same time. Our son has taken a liking to a member of staff in the baby room and another member of staff too. We are really impressed with the level of care.
